That app is free on desktops. It would obviate the mailing of disks.

I have spotify, but I am not sure how to use it the way you are proposing.
Don't overthink it Mr. Bear. If you e-mailed a list of songs to everyone they could assemble those songs in Spotify, or I think you can make and share playlists directly in Spotify, though I haven't tried.
