T-clog goes Four More
Never Going Back Again: I love this little song. The instruments carry this song. The high pitched strings on the guitar are a cool and steeley sound that blows a fresh breeze across my brow. I love the phrase "been down one time, been down two times.." It stands out and is just good stuff.

The people have spoken on this one, as well. One of the top three-received songs, along with Kathy's Song and Such Great Heights.
For the record: on the "instruments." I believe it's just a single acoustic guitar, which makes Buckingham's musicianship all the more impressive.
"Been down one time, been down two times:" you've always liked this theme in lyrics (i.g. "Tub Thumping," which I hated). But yes, it is a triumphant little statement in the wake of what was failed romance. Though, perhaps Lindsey Buckingham should consider that the reason his romance with this person failed was because he was getting blowjobs from Stevie Nicks.
Rumours was written while he and Stevie were breaking up, AND when the McVies were breaking up. He was singing this ABOUT Stevie Nicks.
And Christine McVie was singing You Make Loving Fun about her new relationship, in the face of John McVie.
Mick Fleetwood put up with an awful lot of shit.
He didn't care-he was stoned.
Interesting background info, though.
